Isabelle Gounod
Isabelle Gounod Gallery was founded in 2004 and opened its current Parisian space in late 2008 in Le Marais. It presents emerging and confirmed artists from the French and International artistic scene. Its programme is open and multidisciplinary (painting, drawing, photography, video, installations, performances?). Today, the Gallery is recognized for its strong commitment to the Young Painting and support to artists who base their reflection on literature, poetry, language as well as the posture of the body in urban space. The artists we work with, in some cases since the beginning of their career, have gained high visibility in France both within public institutions and in private French and international collections. Since September 2013, the gallery?s work on behalf of its artists has gained growing recognition from important collectors, press, as well as institutions over Europe and the US.
